FRAME ADJUSTMENT & ALIGNMENT
28.0 DEMONSTRATE KNOWLEDGE OF FRAME ADJUSTMENT AND ALIGNMENT
OBJECTIVE: The student will be able to:
1. Identify frame parts and materials
2. Demonstrate knowledge of frame measurements
3. Demonstrate pupillary distance measurement.
4. Demonstrate frame selection considering customer and frame characteristics
5. Select correct frame and bridge size.

ACTIVITY:
1. Identify frame material in trays provided
2. Measure frame size, bridge size and temple size
3. Select a partner and measure their pupillary distance using the PD. ruler and the
pupillometer.
